“Softline” Group and “Key Point” Group agreed to create a network of modular data centers with the support of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation

On September 5, at the IX Eastern Economic Forum, a trilateral cooperation agreement was signed between the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC); “Key Point” Group, a regional network of data centers; and “Softline” Group, a leading provider of solutions and services in the field of digital transformation and information security, developing a comprehensive portfolio of its own products and services. The agreement provides for the creation of a network of scalable modular data processing centers (MDPC), fully equipped with IT infrastructure, in the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District and Siberia. The unification of the competencies and capabilities of “Key Point” Group and “Softline” Group with the support of FEDC will help increase the volume of services provided in the regions. The creation of modular data centers and the deployment of IT infrastructure are planned in the Republics of Yakutia and Buryatia; Khabarovsk, Zabaikalsky, Kamchatka, Sakhalin, Amur and Magadan Regions and in the Chukotka Autonomous District. The clients of the new network will be manufacturing, mining and processing enterprises, state enterprises, the Ministry of Digital Development, the Highway Administration, regional information and analytical centers and commercial customers.
