Elvira Nurgalieva: “The Federal Competition for the Best Improvement Projects Helps Implement Master Plans for Cities in the Far Eastern Federal District”

Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic Elvira Nurgalieva, Director of the Department of Social Development of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East Grigory Smolyak and representatives of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) visited the city of Artem in Primorsky Region on a working visit. The trip took place as part of the events of the Eastern Economic Forum. The delegation inspected key public spaces and infrastructure facilities included in the long-term comprehensive plan for the socio-economic development of the city.

Particular attention was paid to the improvement of the territory of "Ozernye Klyuchi" - one of the central objects of the city master plan and the future center of attraction for residents and guests of Artem. In recent years, the bank has been reinforced here, a cascade of ponds with two isthmuses and a sluice-regulator has been created. In 2025, the project for the improvement of “Ozernye Klyuchi” became the winner of the IV All-Russian competition of the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment and will receive a federal grant of 300 million rubles.
