Experts of the Creative Industries Forum discussed the need to create a macro-regional strategy for the development of creative industries in the Far East

At the Forum of Creative Industries in Yakutsk, a substantive discussion was held on the prospects for developing a macro-regional strategy for the development of the creative economy of the Far East. During the session, experts, government and business representatives discussed current challenges and opportunities for the growth of the creative potential of the region. Gasan Gasanbalaev, Executive Director of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), cited sociological research data indicating the emergence of new professional guidelines among young people. According to him, the new generation of Far Eastern Federal District residents is showing increasing interest in creative professions - from film production to design and fashion, which requires the creation of appropriate conditions for the realization of their potential directly in the region. The participants paid special attention to a systemic approach to solving issues to accelerate the development of creative industries. As experts noted, it is necessary to clearly delineate competencies between the federal and regional levels, develop effective mechanisms to support creative business and modernize educational programs. Deputy Chairman of the Government of Yakutia Anatoly Semenov emphasized the humanitarian component of the future strategy. He emphasized that people should be at the center of any transformations, and investments in the development of the creative potential of the region's residents are a key condition for its sustainable development.
