Long-term development plans for the five cities of the Far Eastern Federal District will be approved by the Government before the start of the EEF-2023

The Government of Russia discussed the approval of long-term plans for the integrated socio-economic development of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Ulan-Ude, Chita, Severobaikalsk, Tynda for the period up to 2030, which will ensure the implementation of master plans for these five Far Eastern cities. A conciliation meeting with responsible federal ministries and institutions was held by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev. Long-term plans for the development of these cities until 2030 include 116 measures. It is planned to allocate 741.8 billion rubles for their financing, including 422.7 billion rubles from the federal budget and 264.7 billion rubles from extrabudgetary sources. The federal budget has already provided 168.4 billion rubles for the implementation of development plans for these cities.
