V Forum “Idea to Business. Business to results” was held in Chukotka from 18 to 22 April. More than 200 representatives of business and government, investors, experts from Russia, as well as from India and Indonesia took part in the forum.

The events of the forum were aimed at supporting young professionals and authors of ideas for the development of Chukotka, creating attractive conditions for business development in the region, getting to know the best practices and success stories of entrepreneurs, a set of state support measures, including benefits and preferences of the Advanced Development Territory " Chukotka”, the free port of Vladivostok (SPV), the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF).

“Chukotka is a unique region - only here there are three preferential regimes at once: ASEZ, FPV and AZRF. Depending on the direction of activity and preferential conditions offered by the state, the investor can choose the most suitable option for himself. Residents are guaranteed the provision of tax benefits and administrative preferences: for the first five years, there will be no taxes on property and profits for entrepreneurs, insurance premiums reduced by 75% will be valid for 10 years, residents can apply the free customs zone procedure, count on a wide range of services, including participation in the selection for reimbursement of costs for the constructed infrastructure,” said Gadzhimagomed Huseynov, First Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic.

Representatives of the Ministry for the Development of the Far East and the FEDC, the Government of Chukotka, foreign guests took part in the plenary session of the forum "The Power of the North: business development, prospects and life." The topics of discussion were the development of the economy and small business, the Northern Sea Route, tourism and creative potential.
