Highlights from the Far East Master Plan Investor Day in Moscow: Key projects in logistics, tourism, housing construction, and technology were presented to businesses

Participants of the Investor Day, organized by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) at VEB.RF's Urban Laboratories venue, reviewed priority investment projects for master plans for the development of cities in the Far East and Arctic.

Regional representatives invited businesses to collaborate on promising projects aimed at improving quality of life, increasing tourism, developing transport infrastructure, and strengthening the country's technological sovereignty. More than 250 representatives from businesses, government agencies, banks, and development institutions participated in the event. Master plans for Far Eastern cities include over 1,000 projects. Their implementation is being supported by federal and regional funds, treasury infrastructure loans, public bonds (issued by the Amur Region, Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, and Yakutsk), industry-specific government programs, and other instruments. According to Yuri Serdechkin, Deputy Minister for the Development of the Far East and Arctic, 223 projects are expected to attract extra-budgetary funding totaling 1.8 trillion rubles. Residents of the priority development areas and the Free Port of Vladivostok have already joined the master plans: 38 projects worth a total of 270 billion rubles are being implemented using preferential regimes, of which over 101 billion rubles have already been invested.
