The Far East will become a popular diving destination

The Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (FEDC) held a round table dedicated to the development of tourism in the Far East as part of the specialized exhibition “Moscow Dive Show” in Moscow's “Gostiny Dvor”. For the eighth year in a row, the event brings together thousands of surface and underwater professionals and kicks off a new underwater season. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, Roszapovedtsentr, authorities of the Sakhalin Region, heads of Far Eastern reserves and diving centers.

Yevgeny Polukhin, Director of the ANO “Primorsky Underwater Research Center”, Far East Branch of the National Dive League, and “Sea Frogs” Diving Center, told about year-round diving training from beginner to professional, and how to choose the right instructor.

In addition to certification and improving the level of skills, the school develops a new type of excursion - diving to sunken ships, and every year in February, they hold the championship of Primorsky Region in orienteering under ice for speed.
