The Russian Far East and the Chinese province of Liaoning are increasing the scale of trade and economic cooperation

Trade, economic, investment and humanitarian cooperation between the Russian Far East and Liaoning Province was discussed by Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and Arctic Anatoly Bobrakov and Secretary of the Committee of the Communist Party of the People's Republic of China of Liaoning Province Hao Peng. In 2023, significant results in trade, economic and investment cooperation were achieved between the Russian Far East and China. Over the first 9 months of this year, mutual trade increased by 25.7%. Investment projects with a total value of over 800 billion rubles are being implemented in the preferential regimes of the Far East with the participation of Chinese companies. “We are ready to develop mutually beneficial cooperation with China in all areas. We are open to dialogue and will provide support in the implementation of joint investment projects in the Far East,” noted Anatoly Bobrakov.
