The Far Eastern eSports tournament will be held at FEFU in December 2023 with the support of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the organization of a major eSports tournament in the Far East during the plenary session of the eighth Eastern Economic Forum. Qualifying tournaments in all 11 regions of the Far East will start in November 2023 - at least 350 participants from 66 teams will compete for the right to be in the final stage (each subject of the Far Eastern Federal District will field 6 teams or more). At the end of December, the FEFU campus on Russky Island will host the grand final between the strongest teams from the Far Eastern regions. Over the course of 2 days, participants will determine the best in two eSports disciplines - DOTA 2 and “World of Tanks”. The prize fund for the regional stage will be 1 million rubles, and in the final, the rivals will compete for another 5 million rubles. Next year the competition will become international.
