The special branded train “Far Eastern Express” enters the Moscow metro line for the sixth time. It will run on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line for six months. The launch of the Far Eastern Express was given by the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev. “It has already become a tradition that once a year we launch the “Far Eastern Express” along the underground tracks of our capital. We want to tell Moscow residents and guests about the Far East: about nature, what is happening there now, how enterprises are built... We invite all residents of our country to discover the Far East,” said Yuri Trutnev. Every year, a new themed carriage appears on the Far Eastern Express. Last year it was a carriage dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of the famous explorer of the Far East Vladimir Arsenyev. Two years ago, it was a “restaurant car” telling about Far Eastern cuisine. And this year the highlight of the train is a special “children’s” carriage, which introduces young metro passengers to the regions of the Far East, its nature, and inhabitants.
