The Russian Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, the National Commodity Exchange and the Amur Region Ministry of Agriculture have held a round table in Blagoveshchensk, Amur Region, on the Exchange Trading of Agricultural Produce. Participants saw a demonstration of new features in the commodity trading system, which will allow traders to correct their bids automatically and extend the auction if bidding is still continuing in the last few minutes of the auction. These new technological developments in the exchange will increase competition in auctions and thus enable prices to be established more effectively.
