Tourist complex «Steppe nomad" in Buryatia expands its territory thanks to the "Hektar" program

The «Steppe nomad» tourist complex, located 50 km from Ulan-Ude, is one of the most popular ethnic tourism projects in the Far East. For several years in a row, the largest international ethnic music festival, «Voice of Nomads», has been held on the territory of this complex. More than 10,000 people visited the «Voice of Nomads» festival in 2022. More than 40 concerts of bands from Mongolia, Tyva, Kalmykia, Kazakhstan, Tatarstan, Buryatia, Moscow, Irkutsk and Chita took place. To expand the territory of the complex, the authors of the «Steppe Nomad» project took 2 additional sites under the «Hektar» program in 2021. This made it possible to receive about 1,000 more visitors during the festival, to begin the construction of additional facilities and to carry out landscaping of the territory.
