Far Eastern and Arctic mortgages will be available to participants of the Special Military Operation

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin instructed to extend the Far Eastern and Arctic mortgages to the participants of the Special Military Operation. According to a document published on the Kremlin website, the Government of the Russian Federation has been instructed to amend the terms of the Far Eastern and Arctic Mortgage program by March 1, to provide for its extension “to citizens who take or have taken part in a special military operation, and family members of citizens who was killed (died) in connection with the implementation of the tasks of a special military operation (without taking into account the conditions provided for in the program regarding the age and marital status of citizens).” In addition, new changes to the preferential housing lending program in the Far East and the Arctic will remove the requirement for work experience in their specialty for teaching staff and employees of medical organizations in the Far Eastern Federal District and the Russian Arctic.
