A dry port for transshipment of goods between the Russian Federation and China will be created by a new resident of the “Amurskaya” ASEZ

At the Russian-Chinese economic forum "AmurExpo" an agreement was concluded between the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) and the “Octet Service” company on the implementation of activities in the priority development territory (ASEZ) "Amurskaya". The signing ceremony took place in the presence of the Governor of the Amur Region Vasily Orlov. It was attended by the director of the FEDC “Amurskaya” Irina Volkova and the executive director of “Octet Service” LLC Alexander Titov. The total investment in the project will be more than 3.8 billion rubles. The dry port will occupy an area of 300 hectares and will create more than 100 new jobs. It will be able to receive and process more than 1 million tons of cargo annually. The project is planned to be completed in 2025. “The Blagoveshchensk Dry Port” will connect the Blagoveshchensk-Heihe international road bridge with the railway infrastructure and will create a new multimodal logistics channel,” noted Vasily Orlov.
