The number of orders on “Ozon” in Primorye has tripled in a year

The region has become one of the leaders in Russia in terms of the number of marketplace pickup points. The number of online orders on the “Ozon” marketplace in Primorye has tripled in a year, and the number of active customers has increased by almost 65%. On average, each customer places 85% more orders on the platform than the previous year. Moreover, 40% of orders are placed by customers from small towns. The number of customers from cities and towns with populations of up to 50,000 has almost doubled year-on-year.

Alexander Startsev, “Ozon”'s Operations Director for Production: "The expansion of “Ozon”'s logistics infrastructure and pickup point network has made it easier for residents of Primorsky Region to receive online orders. This is especially true for shoppers in small towns, who often lack access to a wide selection of products in person. There are approximately 2,000 pickup points operating in the region—their number has increased by more than 80% in the past year. Almost half of all pickup points are located in cities and towns with populations of up to 50,000, and 87% of the region's population is within walking distance of a marketplace pickup point.”
