The boundaries of the priority development area (TOR) "Buryatia" will be expanded to include new land plots and part of the water area of Lake Baikal. This will enable Buryatia to develop a tourism cluster in the central ecological zone of Lake Baikal. As part of the project, it is planned to build a hotel with 200 rooms, a restaurant with 300 seats, a spa and pool area, a yacht port, a lighthouse with an observation deck, a rental office and a landscaped beach. The work is expected to be completed in 2024. The implementation of the project will promote the development of tourism in Buryatia and create approximately 250 new jobs, while attracting 1.4 billion rubles in private investment to the region.
