More than 400 participants from all over the Far East are working at the XI All-Russian Demographic Conference in Kamchatka

The grand opening of the 11th All-Russian Conference "Demographic Development of the Far East" took place in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. More than 400 representatives of federal and regional government agencies, development institutions, the scientific and expert community, and public organizations from all 11 regions of the Far Eastern Federal District are participating in the event.

The conference's main topic will be the implementation of the Far East Demographic Policy Strategy for the Period up to 2030 and for the Future until 2036, approved by the Government of the Russian Federation. Participants will discuss improving mechanisms to support birth rates and families with children, developing health promotion programs, implementing digital technologies in healthcare, as well as measures to improve quality of life and attract population growth to the regions of the Far East.

The first day's business program will include a plenary session entitled "The State Demographic Policy Strategy for the Far East and the Draft Action Plan for its Implementation." Special attention will be given to the presentation of regional demographic development programs. All 11 Far Eastern Federal District constituent entities will present their approaches to achieving target indicators for birth rates, health care, and net migration.

On the second day of the conference, experts will examine best practices in the application of digital medical technologies for remote healthcare, the initial results of regional health programs, and new approaches to increasing the birth rate and shaping a value system in Russian society.
