More than 300 participants, 11 top federal and regional speakers and 8 hours of open dialogue. The first regional forum "Chukotka of the Future" was held in Anadyr. Experienced businessmen and those who are just planning to start their own business, government representatives and active residents who care about the future of the district gathered on one platform. The participants discussed the creation of conditions for stimulating business activity in Chukotka, including among young people, issues of supporting and promoting regional brands, as well as key aspects of building a business on a franchise and social entrepreneurship. According to the Governor – Chairman of the Government of the Chukotka Autonomous District Vladislav Kuznetsov, the role of the SME sector will only increase in the future. The government sets itself the task of moving away fr om a single-industry structure of the economy by 2030. The Chukotka of the future is a region wh ere small local enterprises are integrated into the cooperation chains of large companies, and the “menu” of support measures is formed by the entrepreneurs themselves.
