"Our four 'Far Eastern Hectares' are located near Birobidzhan and the village of Bira. Once upon a time, back in Soviet times, there was a large beekeeping state farm here. The location is just ideal, as the special ratio of honey plants produces a unique, memorable product. We call it 'Birobidzhan honey.' Its ingredients include Amur cork tree, Amur linden, and eleutherococcus. The taste is unusually delicate, not cloying," says Denis Borisov, a participant in the “Hectare” program.
According to him, the apiary gained popularity almost immediately. At first, nearby neighbors began buying the honey, and now people from Birobidzhan and Khabarovsk come to the "Far Eastern hectares." Denis emphasizes that advertising wasn't even necessary for sales.
