The “Progress” aircraft plant turned 90 years old

On May 26, the “Progress” plant (part of “Russian Helicopters”, a subsidiary of “Rostec” State Corporation), a leading industrial enterprise in the Far East and a flagship of the Russian aviation industry, celebrated its 90th anniversary. As part of the celebrations, Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, accompanied by Oleg Kozhemyako, Governor of Primorsky Region, visited the plant and congratulated its employees on the anniversary.

The distinguished guests visited the company's production facilities, assessed its progress in meeting its production plan and potential for further capacity expansion, and then participated in a celebratory event at the plant's information center.

At the ceremony, more than 50 plant employees were awarded high federal and regional state awards. Those honored included turners, mechanics, assemblers, engineers, foremen, bureau chiefs, department heads, and other plant employees.
