The asphalt road to Khalaktyrsky beach will be built before the end of 2024
An asphalt road to the famous volcanic beach is being built in Kamchatka. The project is part of a long-term plan for the comprehensive socio-economic development of the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatka urban district. The new route from the village of Zaozerny to Khalaktyrsky beach is planned to be commissioned before the end of 2024.
The construction of the new road is being carried out using a special treasury loan from the federal budget for 971.12 million rubles. This is a new mechanism for co-financing regional infrastructure projects - federal funds are raised for the design, construction, reconstruction (modernization), major repairs of utility, transport, social, tourism infrastructure and improvement of the territories of the administrative centers of the Far Eastern regions.
