Arctic energy projects were discussed at the forum in Arkhangelsk

Within the framework of the X International Forum "Arctic Projects - Today and Tomorrow" with the participation of the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, an expert session "Alternative Energy and Energy Efficiency: Vectors of Development in High Latitudes" was held. The agenda included issues of current trends in the development of the energy industry in the macroregion and promising investment projects.

Maksim Gubanov, Head of the Energy and Housing Department of the FEDC, spoke about the measures of state support being implemented in the Arctic zone. As an example, he cited “Arctic Power Capital”, which implemented an investment project by building 5 solar-diesel power plants in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) with a total capacity of more than 8 MW.
