The “Arctic Start-up Expedition” and FEDC will help young architects in implementing projects
As part of the Creative Project Competition “Arctic Start-up Expedition: Russian Far East and Arctic” (ASE FAR), the start of a new competitive discipline “Urban Environment” has been announced. The goal of the competition is to help architects and designers implement creative ideas and launch successful projects. The experts of the competition will be well-known architects of the regions of the Far East and the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, managers of urban planning projects, representatives of the companies “Territory Development Center”, “East Architects”, “LETO YAKUTIA”, specialists of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC).
Participants in the “Urban Environment” competition will have the opportunity to take educational courses on the design and improvement of public spaces, get acquainted with the best design practices, discuss key challenges and opportunities for urban development, and develop professional and communication skills.
All residents of the Far Eastern Federal District and the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation can take part in the “Urban Environment” competition. The winner will receive 1 million rubles. The final event will take place on October 16, 2023 at the “Boiling Point” at Blagoveshchensk, Lenin St., 139.
