Anton Basansky: The Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East will develop a digital map of tourist routes in the Far East

This was announced on September 25 by State Secretary and Deputy Minister of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East Anton Basansky at the plenary session "Investment Strategy 2030. Tourism" on the first day of the 6th Federal Forum and Festival "Russian Creative Week" in Moscow. Experts from government and creative businesses discussed the future of the creative economy with the development of digital platforms and which online and offline collaboration scenarios will be most effective in the near future.

"Digital platforms are certainly helping the tourism industry develop – from booking tickets to exploring locations through VAR tours. New technologies are a great aid to the development of the hospitality economy. We are currently creating our own digital map of tourist routes in the Far East, which can be explored both independently and with a guide. From hiking eco-trails to Pacific Ocean cruises," the deputy minister noted.

The 6th Federal Forum and Festival "Russian Creativity Week" is a key event in the creative economy. It takes place from September 25 to 27 at the Rossiya National Center. It focuses on three strategic areas: a value-based economy 2035, spatial development of the country and regions in the era of a new type of economy, and the role of creative people in shaping new economic models.
