Announcement: Strategic session “Northern delivery: reliable, fast, affordable” will be held at the National Center “Russia” in Moscow on December 3-4

Participants of the Strategic Session will discuss new approaches to providing vital cargo to remote and hard-to-reach areas of the Far North. Representatives of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia, Rosrezerv, Rospotrebnadzor, Rosatom, Sberbank, Russian Railways and regions of the Far East and the Arctic will act as experts – more than 200 participants in total. The Northern Delivery is a set of measures for the regular supply of vital goods to the population of the Far North and equivalent areas: food, medicine, fuel and other goods. On April 1, 2024, a new federal law "On Northern Delivery" came into force in Russia, which has become an effective tool for regular and uninterrupted supply of remote areas, reducing the time and cost of cargo delivery. Previously, there was no single regulatory framework determining the procedure for interaction between participants in the northern delivery, their rights and obligations. The key event of the Strategy Session will be the plenary session “Northern Delivery: First Results and Development Directions”, at which initiatives and proposals formulated by the participants of the event will be considered. The program of the strategic session "Northern Delivery" and the conditions of participation are published on the official website of the event: sevzavoz.arctic-russia.ru. Registration of participants - until November 28 inclusive.
