The meeting discussed measures for the implementation of a comprehensive plan for the development of the Arkhangelsk transport hub and a project for the construction of a deep-water area of the seaport of Arkhangelsk. Particular attention was paid to the development of ship repair. The fleet of shipping companies that make regular calls to the port or work in the Arkhangelsk region exceeds 260 ships. According to shipowners' forecasts, the need for dock repair of the Arctic fleet in Arkhangelsk will grow 2.5 times in the coming years.
