Alexey Chekunkov shared his personal experience of interaction with Chinese partners with the cadets of the “Muravyov-Amursky 2030” program

The head of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, Alexey Chekunkov, met with the participants of the “Muravyov-Amursky 2030” program as part of its international module and preparation for the cadets' trip to China. The minister shared with future government officials his personal experience of interaction with China of attracting investment and building an effective partnership. At the beginning of his speech, Alexey Chekunkov spoke about his experience of working with Chinese investors before his transition to public service. Thanks to this activity, projects worth $3.5 billion have been implemented in such industries as logistics, gold mining, and others over 10 years. The “Muravyov-Amursky 2030” program is being implemented by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East jointly with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) with the support of the Skolkovo School of Management. The goal of the program is to prepare a management team of civil servants to work in the Far East. The international module of the program is being held with the support of the Moscow State University Institute of Asian and African Studies.
