An agrologistics center will be built in Primorsky Region

JSC Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), “Sodruzhestvo” Management Company and the Government of Primorsky Region signed an agreement on the construction of a multifunctional agro-logistics center with a container platform in the “Primorye” priority development area. The agreement was signed today at the Eastern Economic Forum by Nikolay Zapryagaev, CEO of FEDC, Vera Shcherbina, First Vice-Governor of Primorsky Region – Chairman of the Government of Primorsky Region, and Pavel Zarkov, Director of Development and Investments at “Sodruzhestvo” Management Company LLC. The project envisages the construction of an elevator complex with a one-time storage capacity of up to 150 thousand tons of grain. The total investment in the project will amount to 1.5 billion rubles, and 35 jobs will be created. "The creation of an agrologistics center within the “Primorye” priority development area is an important step to strengthen the region's food security and expand the Far East's export potential. This will create new jobs for Primorye residents," noted Nikolay Zapryagaev, CEO of JSC FEDC.
