90 thousand families purchased or built their own housing using the “Far Eastern Mortgage”

In November 2023, the preferential housing lending program in the Far East reached new significant indicators. According to the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the number of preferential mortgages issued in the Far Eastern Federal District exceeded 90 thousand. To improve housing conditions, financial organizations in the macroregion allocated over 400 billion rubles in credits at the lowest rates in the country. Among the top three in terms of the number of loans issued: • Primorsky Region – 24.4 thousand loans worth 111.5 billion rubles; • Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) – 19.9 thousand loans worth 96 billion rubles; • Khabarovsk Region – 12.1 thousand loans worth 54 billion rubles. For the construction of individual housing, banks issued 13.6 thousand loans totaling 71 billion rubles. The average loan amount for individual housing construction in the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District is 5.2 million rubles. In this segment of the program, Yakutia is the leader among the regions of the Far East. Here, for the purpose of individual housing construction, banks issued 6.2 thousand loans.
