75 thousand families purchased or built their own housing under the “Far East Mortgage”

According to the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (FEDC), the number of issued preferential mortgages in the Far East Federal District as of July 2023 exceeded 75,000. For the improvement of housing conditions, financial organizations of the macro region issued over 323 billion rubles at unprecedentedly low rates. In the top three in terms of the number of loans issued: • Primorsky Region - 20.7 thousand loans for 93.4 billion rubles; • Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) – 16,000 loans for 75 billion rubles; • Khabarovsky Region - 10.1 thousand loans for 44 billion rubles. For the construction of individual housing, banks issued 10,000 loans totaling over 50 billion rubles. The average loan amount for individual housing construction in the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District is 5 million rubles. Yakutia is the leader in this segment of the program, where banks issued 4.5 thousand loans for the construction of their own houses.
