On May 25, the fifth round of the “Muravyov-Amursky 2030” program was launched at the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok

The program is aimed at training highly qualified specialists for effective work in public administration and socio-economic development in the Far Eastern Federal District and the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation.

The fifth cohort was the largest in terms of number of participants: the competition reached 160 candidates per place from all regions of the Russian Federation. The total number of applications for the fifth cohort reached 10,441, 50% higher than last year's figure and the highest in the program's four years of implementation. This figure demonstrates the program's growing recognition as a tool for training a new generation of managers for the Far East and the Arctic.

Sixty-five students have been enrolled in the program. Leading the newcomers are from six regions: the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Sakhalin Region, the Republic of Buryatia, Irkutsk Region, Moscow, and St. Petersburg. The average age of the students is 31.
