Director of the Department of Social Projects of the FEDC Sergey Potanin: “Exactly one year ago, on the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation, the “Far Eastern Mortgage” was expanded to the Arctic territory. The program became a popular support measure – during its first year of operation, almost 11 thousand loans were issued in the Arctic. A fifth of these loans were taken out by teachers and doctors. The rate of issuance of "Arctic mortgages" is higher than in the first year of the program's implementation in the Far East.
