The “AERO-HIT” company, resident of “Khabarovsk” ASEZ, is implementing a project to manufacture “Veles” unmanned aerial vehicles used in the “kamikaze” and “reconnaissance” formats under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC). Since 2023, the company has transferred more than 10,000 military modular FPV drones to the Special Military Operation zone (SMO).
Drones produced by the ASEZ resident are being improved in accordance with the needs of fighters in the SMO. Thus, for the latest version of the UAV, the company's employees equipped the drones with fiber-optic communication for high-speed data transmission in remote control and surveillance systems, artificial intelligence with the “Soroka” and “Stratim” guidance systems, allowing for accurate targeting even in conditions of active counteraction, thermal imaging and night cameras for work in the dark, as well as modular designs that can be adapted for reconnaissance, strike or escort of assault groups. The new model "Veles-15" with a load capacity of up to 10 kg and a flight range of 25 km is already undergoing testing in the SMO zone.
"During the period of application of the state support measures of the “Khabarovsk” ASEZ, our company increased its production capacity - 5,000 units per month. In 2025, it is planned to expand production, including through the involvement of remote sites, to 15,000 drones per month. For this, a preferential loan from the Industrial Development Fund in the amount of 500 million rubles was attracted. The preferential regime of the “Khabarovsk” ASEZ allowed us to optimize expenses on income tax and insurance premiums, which made it possible to introduce advanced technologies into scientific developments and expand production capacities,” notes Viktor Yatsenko, General Director of “AERO-HIT” LLC.
