15 foreign companies with Russian participation plan to join the Russky Island Special Administrative Region, in Primorsky Region

According to the Russian Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, as of the end of 2020 just two participants, Finvision Holdings and Donalink, were registered with the management company of the Russky Island Special Administrative Region (SAR). In 2021 they were joined by 3 major international companies with a total capitalization of over 1.5 trillion rubles, including SUEK LTD and Interros Capital. And in the first half of 2022 two more international companies, World Boat Service and Wandle Holdings Limited JSC, were registered in Russky Island.

“Seven companies are now registered in the Russky Island SAR. In 2021 they invested a total of 230 million rubles, almost half of which was in the form of capital investment. The Russky Island SAR residents have significantly increased their workforce and together paid a total of 1.6 billion in taxes in 2021. We are seeing a steady growth in the key performance indicators. At the moment we are making arrangements for the relocation of another 15 companies to the SAR,” said Pavel Sheyka, Director of the SAR’s Support Department.
