“We live here and enjoy every new day,” - a family of compatriots from Germany moved to the Far East with state support

The implementation of the State Program for the voluntary resettlement of compatriots living abroad to the Russian Federation began in 2007. Since then, more than 70 thousand people have moved to the Far East. All 11 regions of the Far Eastern Federal District, according to the terms of the State Program, are territories of priority settlement. The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) provides information and advisory support to compatriots, helps regional employers in the selection and employment of specialists from among those who have moved, participates in the development of support measures for its participants, and interacts with the authorities on the implementation of the State Program. The Far East is chosen as a place to live and work by compatriots from Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, as well as from far abroad, including Latin American countries and Germany. Dmitry Berg grew up in the German city of Koblenz. He is 38 years old; his wife Anastasia is the same age. The family has two sons, the eldest is 7 years old and the youngest is 4 years old. Dmitry's profession in Germany was related to the work of municipal authorities. The wife's profession is a teacher in preschool institutions. “We couldn’t even imagine that Primorye would be so good! - says Dmitry Berg... The family is very happy with the Primorsky Region, we have a lot of the most vivid and positive emotions, while we understand that we have not seen many interesting things here yet. We live here and enjoy every new day.”
