Residents of the Arctic zone of Russia receive the first preferential mortgages
On December 8, VTB Bank clients received preferential loans under the “Arctic Mortgage” program. The bank conducted its first transactions in the Republic of Karelia and the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The average loan size was 2.8 million rubles. VTB Bank has already received over 1.4 thousand applications under the new program. The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation support the implementation of the “Arctic mortgage”.
The terms of the new preferential program are identical to the parameters of the Far Eastern Mortgage: the rate will be 2% for the entire term of the contract, the down payment will be at least 20% of the cost of the purchased property, the maximum loan size will be 6 million rubles, and the term will be 20 years. Young spouses no older than 35 years old, teachers and doctors who have worked in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation for at least five years, participants in the “Hektar” program in the Arctic, as well as single parents raising a child under the age of 18 inclusive, can take advantage of the preferential mortgage program. They can take out a loan to purchase real estate in both the primary and secondary markets.
