Two weeks ago, because of a mine collapse at the Pioneer mine, 13 people who were on shift at the time were trapped under the rubble. Search and rescue operations were carried out for 14 days. We were in touch around the clock with the regional governor, company management, Emergency Situations Ministry employees, and relevant ministries and departments. All necessary equipment was supplied in the shortest possible time. Nevertheless, it was not possible to reach the miners. The drilling results showed that the places where the miners could have been are filled with rock mass and water. Due to the threat to the lives of rescuers, the technical council decided to stop rescue work. I express my deepest condolences to the relatives and friends of the miners. I assure you that a serious investigation will be carried out. We will find out the reasons, find and punish the culprits. We will take measures to ensure that this does not happen again.
