100 creative leaders of Pacific Russia named in Vladivostok

“This week, the first festival-forum “Russian Creative Week – Far East” took place in Vladivostok. The macro-region has become the main center for discussing issues that are important for the development of creative industries not only in the Far Eastern Federal District, but also throughout the country. This includes building a balance between state support and private investment in the sector, aspects affecting intellectual property, and, of course, the production and export of creative entrepreneurship products. Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (FEDC) and the Federation of Creative Industries (FCI) presented the results of a unique research project “100 Creative Leaders of Pacific Russia”, which was conducted in Primorsky, Khabarovsk, Kamchatka, Sakhalin and Magadan Regions and the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug in 2022-2023” said the Executive Director of the FEDC for Social Development Gasan Gasanbalaev. Visual arts, film and animation, music, galleries and creative clusters have become leaders in the study "100 Creative Leaders in Pacific Russia", which was conducted for the first time in the regions of the Far East. The experts received 500 responses and identified 400 names of creative business representatives, 100 of which were included in the final list of hundreds of creative leaders in Pacific Russia. The final list with the names of the winners can be viewed at: pacific.100mcr.com. Among them are the team of the architectural and production company “Concrete jungle”, the musician and founder of the BGW music label Pavel Lopatin, the author of the “ARTISTBAZAR” project Daniela Pika, the founder of the “Artetage” Museum of Contemporary Art Alexander Gorodniy, the team of the “Mechtalet” animation studio and many others. One of the entrepreneurs included in the "hundred" was the owner of the holding KUKSOV GROUP Pavel Kuksov. The leading company in Vladivostok in the field of hospitality and entertainment has created a number of successful catering facilities, and is implementing a project to create a production and warehouse complex in the “Nadezhdinskaya” priority development area in the Primorsky Region.
