Student patriotic clubs and associations have already been created in 95% of Far Eastern universities
This was announced by plenipotentiary representative of the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev at a meeting on the issue of patriotic education in universities of the Primorsky Region.
In the Far Eastern Federal District, 58 public and private educational organizations of higher education, including branches, conduct educational activities. 137 student patriotic clubs and associations have been created in 55 universities, of which 30 are military-patriotic. The number of activists in them in the current academic year (September - December 2023) increased by 23.9% (from 8.8 thousand to 10.9 thousand students).
During the discussion of the situation in Primorye, it was noted that the creation of military-patriotic clubs is accompanied by scientific and search work of students, familiarization with the history of the region, including the history of military conflicts in the Far East. Connections between student patriotic clubs and associations and military units are being strengthened. For example, Vladivostok State University organized cooperation with the 155th Marine Brigade, thanks to which a channel was formed for the supply of humanitarian aid from the university to the Special Military Operation zone. Members of the university’s patriotic club also periodically travel to the training ground.
