Residents of the ASEZ in the Jewish Autonomous Region were told how to apply tax benefits with maximum advantage

The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) organized a seminar on tax regulation in Birobidzhan for residents of the “Amuro-Khingan” ASEZ. Representatives of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the Jewish Autonomous Region took part in the event. During the meeting, residents of the ASEZ were told how to correctly determine the period for calculating the application of the preferential rate and the first profit, as well as about the application of benefits on insurance premiums to new jobs created for the implementation of the investment project. “The regime of priority development territories has a wide range of preferences, primarily in the field of taxation. In this regard, the issues and specifics of tax regulation of investment activities remain one of the most relevant and important for residents of the ASEZ. Therefore, we regularly conduct such seminars to inform investors about the current requirements for accounting policies and the approaches used by tax authorities. Such meetings with the participation of representatives of tax, customs and other government agencies, Russian Railways and resource supply organizations allow residents of priority development areas to directly ask questions to employees of departments and companies and receive advice for more effective use of tax benefits,” explained Irina Serova, director of the Khabarovsk FEDC.
