During the EnergyNet Day of the National Technology Initiative, a session entitled "Pilot projects for the development of intelligent energy in hard-to-reach and isolated areas" was held. The event was organized by the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) and the EnergyNet Infrastructure Center.
According to the discussion moderator, head of the energy and housing and communal services department of the FEDC, Maxim Gubanov, the key proposal for the development of local energy, prepared by the FEDC together with the EnergyNet Infrastructure Center, is the use of new business models for optimizing local energy supply costs through various technological and organizational measures with the attraction of private investment based on state support.
The relevant proposals have a legislative basis and substantiated calculations, but to assess the effectiveness of such models, experimental confirmation is necessary. That is why companies were invited to take part in pilot projects in various subjects of the Russian Federation, within the framework of which it will be possible to assess the effects for private business, for the public administration system and for residents of remote areas.
