Mechanisms for urban renewal in the Far East were discussed at the “Russia” exhibition

At the exhibition-forum “Russia” an expert session “Master Plan - the Future of Cities” took place. Representatives of federal authorities, development institutions, public organizations and businesses discussed the best practices and mechanisms for infrastructural development of cities and territories of the country. Alexey Tokar, executive director of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation for public-private partnership projects, spoke about the Far Eastern experience. He emphasized that when implementing projects for the development of cities in the Far East; all relevant instruments of the Government of the Russian Federation are used, including the mechanism of the Far Eastern concession. As an example, he cited the project of the Far Eastern Art Museum in Khabarovsk, based on which a cultural cluster will be created, and the Public Center of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky - in the future they will become the calling cards of the regions.
