The company "ENELT KAMCHATKA" will modernize diesel generation using renewable energy sources in two settlements of the Kamchatka Region - the village of Tilichiki and the settlement of Ossora. Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the company received the status of a resident of the “Kamchatka” Advanced Development Area. It is planned to invest about 2 billion rubles of private investment in the project.
The new automated hybrid power plants consist of solar-diesel power plants with energy storage systems. They will replace diesel power plants that do not meet the requirements of reliability, energy efficiency and cost effectiveness.
The construction of modern power supply facilities is part of a project to modernize inefficient diesel generation in the Far East and the Arctic through the introduction of autonomous hybrid power plants. The project is being implemented within the framework of a trilateral cooperation agreement signed on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2024) between FEDC, “ENELT” Group and Bank “Rossiya”.
