A new resident of the ASEZ "Khabarovsk" will create a center for deep wood processing
The “Tumninsky Priisk” company, in the status of a resident of the “Khabarovsk” ASEZ, is organizing a new woodworking facility for the production of high-value-added deep processing products: sawn timber, peeled veneer, plywood, fuel pellets, wood concrete blocks. When the enterprise reaches its design capacity, the “Tumninsky Priisk” LLC will produce 163 thousand cubic meters of products annually.
Commissioning of production facilities is scheduled for 2024. Under an agreement with the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (FEDC), more than 180 million rubles will be invested in the project; about 300 jobs will be created.
“Tax incentives and administrative preferences of the ASEZ regime, the provision of logging sites on preferential terms can significantly increase the profitability of the project. For example, only the benefits provided by the ASEZ regime allow the enterprise to increase the internal rate of return by 3.5% and reduce the payback period of the project to six months, ” - said Andrey Fedorov, head of the forest area of the investment department of the FEDC.
