In the Far East, on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the implementation of 22 long-term comprehensive plans for the socio-economic development of cities and agglomerations continues. A large-scale project for the renovation of key settlements in the macro region is designed to improve the quality of life of people, create new jobs and additional opportunities for self-realization of residents, and reveal the unique tourism advantages of the subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District. In the Sakhalin region, the Yuzhno-Sakhalin agglomeration is being created within the framework of the project. Among the key activities of the master plan is the development of the existing transport network, including the expansion of the fleet of passenger cars. The eight passenger cars that arrived in Sakhalin were manufactured at the Tver Carriage Plant and meet all modern requirements. They are equipped with a ventilation and air conditioning system, a video surveillance system and information screens.
