A new tourism cluster is being opened on Sakhalin on “Far Eastern hectares”

Participants in the “Hektar” program are creating a new tourist attraction on Sakhalin. A resident of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Maxim Kovalenko, and like-minded people took land near the beach on the coast of the Sea of Okhotsk, built a cafe, houses for travelers to stay, and are completing the preparation of a new beach area for the coming season. The “Hektar” program has been operating in the Far East since 2016, and since August 2021, it has been extended to the territory of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. To date, more than 133.8 thousand people have taken land in the Far East and the Arctic, of which about 39 thousand are in the Sakhalin region. To help program participants, FEDC opened a comprehensive support portal OsvoyGektar.RF. Here you can find useful instructions and information about additional support measures, template business plans and model solutions for using the “hectare”. There is a 24-hour line where you can get expert advice on how to choose, obtain and develop land.
