On August 8-9, the II Forum "Arctic - Regions" will be held in Arkhangelsk. It will become a discussion platform for developing joint solutions for the effective development of shipping and maritime logistics along the Northern Sea Route, for the construction and repair of the Arctic fleet, for the modernization of port infrastructure and personnel provision. Representatives of the Federation Council, the State Duma, federal ministries and departments, governors of northern regions, heads of leading scientific and educational organizations and other experts will take part in the discussions.
Currently, the preparation of master plans for 16 key settlements of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation is in the final stage. One of the most important tasks facing the developers of master plans and uniting all Arctic agglomerations without exception is the creation of comfortable conditions for attracting and retaining the best specialists capable to participate in the implementation of strategically important projects for the country in the territory of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation.
