The Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the FEDC will support projects in the field of unmanned aircraft

Within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2023, the Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (FEDC), JSC “State Transport Leasing Company” (GTLK) and LLC “Unmanned Aerial Systems” (UAS) signed a cooperation agreement, which provides for interaction in the implementation of a comprehensive project to create an airline operator of drones. “For the Far East and the Arctic, considering the vast distances, the development of unmanned vehicles is a necessary and cost-effective direction. The President instructed to establish the serial production of UAS in Russia - both large companies and the population have a need for drones. We will combine efforts to create as many enterprises as possible in our territories, where they will produce modern aircraft to provide services to the inhabitants of our country. We will attract domestic innovative developments, technologies and provide state support to manufacturers of UAVs and components,” said Alexei Chekunkov, Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic.
