FEDC is developing cooperation with countries of the Asia-Pacific region in the field of distributed generation

The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) took part in the 13th meeting of the UN Economic and Social Commission (ESCAP) energy working group, which took place in Bangkok. The head of the energy and housing and communal services department of the FEDC, Maxim Gubanov, spoke at the event about the experience of developing distributed generation in remote and isolated areas of the Far East and the Arctic and the prospects for international cooperation with the countries of the Asia-Pacific region in this area. A feature of the Far East and the Arctic is the presence of a territory of decentralized power supply, where local energy sources operate or there is no access to electricity at all. The development of these territories is a priority of state policy for the socio-economic development of the macro region and directly depends on access to inexpensive, reliable, sustainable and modern energy sources for everyone.
