FEDC invited Chinese business to create enterprises in the Russian Far East

General Director of the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (FEDC) Nikolai Zapryagaev took part in the Russian-Chinese business forum in Shanghai, which was held as part of an official visit to China by a delegation of the Government of the Russian Federation headed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. During the event dedicated to the presentation of the industrial and investment potential of the Russian regions and business initiatives, the head of the KRDV paid attention to the issues of trade, economic and investment cooperation between the border regions of the Far East of Russia and China, spoke about the role of state support measures and preferential regimes in the development of the investment potential of the Far Eastern Federal District and the Arctic , as well as promising areas of joint cooperation. Partners from China occupy a significant share among foreign investors. Together with Russian entrepreneurs, they are implementing significant investment projects: gas processing complexes, bridge crossings, ports, shipyards, factories, developing mineral deposits, which are then further processed. And to a large extent it depends on state support measures within the framework of preferential regimes.
